This isn't going as fast as I had hoped, but we can only do what we can. The big transformation of this site is ahead of me - taking on the Tools section. I hope to capture information about some of the great free services on the Web.

The problem is that new goodies seem to pop up faster than I can analyze them. The business model behind all these goodies is fascinating. They either support themselves with advertising or with premium services that only a tiny fraction of users actually buy.

The one that caught my interest today is Imagebam. They claim to support an unlimited number of photo uploads. This includes bulk uploading by zip file, which would be really handy. Of course, the display includes advertising (ugly) and the management (remembering the URLs) is all up to the user. There is (of course) a premium version which resolves these issues. I'll play with it some and provide more detail later.
